Welcome to LichHaven Games.

This site recently took on the title of "temporary". It seems we'll be jazzing up the site for our new releases.

This is the home of Extremed20 3.5-compatible adventure modules, the Plug&Play Classics series and much more.

Make sure you check out our pluggable character sheets for a multitude of different gaming systems. They're free and incredibly useful.

News & Press Releases

3/26/08: Check out our new product line, Plug&Play Classics. The first installment, The Shattered Remains of Athran Kir, will be hitting eShelves tomorrow. This is new intellectual property, and, yes, it's owned fully under copyright, trademark & patent law :)

The Plug&Play Classics line presents a fully detailed map of a legendary lair. Each general feature and key location is described in detail and read-aloud text is provided. The best part: With a new technological process utilizing the power of Adobe Reader, the game master easily inputs his desired encounters directly into the PDF, creating the first ever totally customizable adventure module for all levels and all game systems. The maps are gorgeous, the legends are truly inspiring and the actual dungeon crawls are everything you've come to expect.

3/24/08 - I received the first serious draft of the cover art to The Teeming Ruins of Ctenmoor:

3/4/08 - We sadly say goodbye today to E. Gary Gygax as he passed away in his home earlier today. It's a little tough to swallow right now.
Troll Lords has posted a great forum entry to express your feelings (http://www.freeyabb.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=4373&mforum=trolllordgames), as well as a forum with information on how to pass on your condolences to the Gygax family.  Thank you Steve for starting that post. If you have ever met Gary, you would know that by getting together and building fun and lasting memories through any form of gaming would make him very happy. We will miss him.

2/3/08 - Hey guys and gals, I just finished up my third session at TempleCon and I do say, for those of you who have not visited this convention, you must do so. It is held annualy at the Biltmore Hotel in Providence Rhode Island. It is simply amazing. My pal Ximon works very hard (read: ridiculously hard) to ensure that every player and GM had a GREAT time. This is a much catch, and I will keep you posted on their future events. In the meantime, I prepare for TotalCon ... www.totalcon.com. See you there!

1/31/08 - I just received in the mail the trial print of Greenbaum's Prison and will have the final edits done next week. In the meantime, I'm preparing for TempleCon, which kicks off tomorrow at 1:00 at the Biltmore in Providence. I'm psyched!!!

1/15/08 - As many of you know, WotC is charging $5,000 to jump on an early boat to 4e heaven. I'm not sure if we're doing that yet. As a result, all 3.5 material will be put to market, starting with Teeming Ruins of Ctenmoor after Greenbaum's Prison. I'm going to try and set up a forum sticky on this topic, as it seems to be igniting a fuel under most publisher's @$$es.

12/21/07 - Halls of Everdeath is being pushed back to make space for the Return of the Scorpion God, a one night adventure allowing 1st level characters to take on power capable of transcending to 10th, and later 20th level for a battle with the demigod itself.

12/20/07 - Take a look at the market release cover to Greenbaum's Prison, a Trip to Hell. This cover was done by Wes Jones and I think it's awesome! That pit fiend is actually the duke of the first layer of hell (whose name is protected by various copyright laws - but I think you're all savvy enough to know). Greenbaum's Prison floats above his hand ...

11/22/07 - I am very comfortable with the level of participation in the eCommunity and may be closing it out for a while.  I'll probably accept members until the holidays.  1000 people playing and conbributing to the products is more than adequate.  Thanks for your support and Happy Thanksgiving!  p.s. I also am going to try and get that darn forum site together - it's a mess ...

11/19/07 - JEFF QUINN IS BACK!!!!  Jeff Quinn and I have agreed to team up for the Threats in the Wild monster manual slated for a February release.  Jeff is a very established author (among his credits is Idylls of the Rat King for Goodman Games and he has been nominated for 3 ENnies). His website is http://jpquinn.mortality.net/. I can't tell you how excited I am for what will be a hugely anticipated release. More info coming soon. In the meantime, go check out his site.

Secondly, I received member 587 today and a few of you have already inquired about sharing work with other members!!!

11/18/07 - Halls of Everdeath. The tournament-style crawl I'm writing for TempleCon and TotalCon '08 is called Halls of Everdeath and will challenge the PCs to claiming a long-abandoned fortress that comprises it's own demiplane...

11/12/07 - Hey everyone.  Check out the TempleCon website.  We haven't finalized any of the specifics, but it looks like I'm attending to at least run an original game. (UPDATE: It's finalized - I'll be running an old-school tournament-style dungeon crawl I'm currently writing and other events EVERY DAY OF THE CONVENTION!!!) The convention is held at the Biltmore Hotel, Providence RI, the first weekend of February, and the folks over there (esp. Ximon) are working hard to increase attendee value.  Support the convention.

I've also touched base with Angelia from the largest gaming convention company in the Northeast, Total Confusion, and it looks like I'm slated to run several events at TotalCon during the third weekend in February.  They are committed to saving the face-to-face RPG experience and I ask you support this convention as well.

11/10/07 - I have almost 250 members that have signed up to the eCommunity in the last 10 days!!!!  I thank everyone so much for their support and it looks like Greenbaum's Prison is slated for a December 1st delivery even if we're shy of the 1000 mark.  To help boost membership, any person to email me with 10 valid new members will receive my best-selling module The Last Tomb free!!!

11/08/07 - We're In Print!!! I'm tightening up the specifics right now, but you will be able to purchase any material on this site, or on rpgnow.com and drivethrurpg.com, in print format.
